English Axle (ready to install) For Mk2 escort

One Fully rebuilt English axle. Fitted with mint genuine s/h 3.89 cwp.

This axle has been completely stripped and thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

once we are happy with the axle case and diff housing, it is then sent to be blasted and fully powder coated in satin black to give an out standing finish.

upon its return it is thoroughly cleaned again. Before assembly can begin.

We can then start assembly, using top quality parts, including new Timken bearings, new crush washer, new pinion seal, new uprated h/duty diff housing gasket, new 8x pinion nuts.

We also set up the correct pre load, backlash , cap spread. this guaranteeing a long lasting trouble free service.

The Half shafts are check for straightness and damage. The bearings and retaining plates are removed. once we are happy they are good. Then we clean them ready for blasting.

Once blasted they are reassembled with new or reconditioned retaining plates, new high quality bearings. also the half shaft flange has had a light coat to prevent rust.

Rear brakes are 8" drum brakes, again these are stripped inspected and cleaned. Then blasted and powder coated, shoe contact area is redressed. then assembled with new brake cylinders, brake shoes, shoe fitting kit, copper brake lines, new hardware kit. We even fit with oil if required or can be supplied separately.
