5.14:1 English cwp (English axle only) EACW51

£324.95

Our CWP are sourced for one of the biggest suppliers in England. They are an OEM supplier to many major manufacturers and use the latest Gleason CNC machinery to ensure the highest quality standards. All of our CWP gear sets are precision manufactured from high quality 8620 alloy steel forgings to Ford O.E. specification and quality standards. The superior Gleason tooth forms on each gear set are individually lapped together to ensure optimum meshing quality. After an exacting hardening process the gears are finally treated to a manganese phosphate surface coating which forms a long lasting anti-corrosion shield, gives enhanced lubricity, and protects against abrasion. These are available in the following ratio's 3.54:1, 3.77:1, 3.89:1, 4.12:1, 4.44:1, 4.71:1, 4.86:1, 5.14:1, 5.29:1 No.of teeth 7/36. It has also been the choice for many kit cars. Although it was Ford's light duty axle from this period, it has been used extensively in competition applications for over 50 years and can easily deal with power figures way in excess of the original design intensions. All English differential unit bolts to the front of the axle casing. if they bolt from the rear they are either atlas or koln axle. Oil capacity is approx 1.1 litres.
